Persistence is key.
Do you want to achieve success?
Innate talent is a blessing. Knowledge will give you a good advantage.
But what if you seemingly don’t possess those things? What if you have no idea how you will achieve your goals?
As long as you have even the smallest iota of desire you can accomplish much.
Here’s a quote by Ovid (publius ovidius naso), roman poet
“gutta cavat lapidem, non vi, sed saepe cadendo”
“Dripping water hollows out stone, not through force but through persistence.”
Persistence, like any emotion, can be intensified. Persistence can lead you to what you must do to achieve what you desire.
Learning a skill you may not have had.
Gathering information you did not possess.
Developing discipline you may have lacked.
Thinking in terms of a vehicle:
Experience is the road.
Success is the destination.
Desire is the engine.
Persistence is the fuel.
Whatever it is you want, you’ll NEVER get it without effort.
Never give up.
