Day 12 of anti-slump protocol
I read from a very experienced and established writer, who said that doing a 30-day challenge would be very hard in the beginning.
He mentioned the first week or two would feel like torture. Having to come up with ideas and find something to write about every single day just to be consistent.
He stated that he has this down to such a routine, that all he has to do is open his laptop, write a quick article, and he’s pretty much done for the day.
The part that most people don’t know, is what it takes to get to that point.
First of all, taking on the challenge, is no easy task and then remembering that you have to do this every single day for 30 days.
Now depending on where your mind is, 30 days can go by very quickly, or take a very long time.
For example, if you’re at a job, you need to start at the same time, do the same thing, put in the hours, and basically just grind through the work.
The reason you don’t notice the time is, you’re not thinking about it at all. Your body is working on autopilot.
And when your mind detaches, it loses sense of time. That’s what gives the illusion of speed.
