In this world where we have the cancel culture and really sensitive folks ready to protest in the streets, the value of the truth should never be understated.

Jesus Christ said in the Bible you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

The truth will set you free from lies. And lies can be very dangerous, especially, if you take them to heart and frame your entire life around something that isn’t the truth.

Harsh truth is better than Pretty Lies.

you ever had that one friend never bit their tongue no matter what? Or a family member that didn’t spare your feelings? The harsh truth may be something that makes folks uncomfortable, but it is absolute reality unadulterated.

Sure, you may not like the delivery method, but who in their right mind wants to be lied to? lies are just like being violated.

You could be led to believe things, led to do things, and led to stand up for things that are completely untrue. And once you find out the truth you end up feeling used. i

n the end you always appreciate and respect the ones who kept it real with you.

Why yes men are your worst enemies.

Do you know someone who agrees with just about everything that you do? even if some of your ideas are far-fetched, unreasonable, or downright crazy?

Do you know somebody who would just say yes to everything? What if you were to take action on something that you believe and you didn’t do your due diligence or research on it?

What do you think would happen to you if you didn’t have a friend to check you when you go off on a tangent before you know everything about something you wish to commit to?

And if this friend says yes to everything what is their true agenda? Why are they around you , what do they really want from you?

Think of all the scammers who gained the trust, commitment and money from followers they decieved. It was all done with elaborate lies. The tinder swindler on netflix is a great example of this:Gain the trust of women who wanted a relationship, then over time, extract money and resources from them.

Who are you to your friends?

certainly you have friends you know, love, and respect. where do you stand with them?

Do you tell them everything they need to hear? Do you check them if you feel that they could be leading themselves into a trap? Even if it means cussing them out?

Who are you to your friends? Can they rely upon you to tell them the truth at all times so as to give them the best information to keep them from getting into trouble?

And the truth shall set you free.

Just like the Bible says, the truth shall set you free. the harshness of reality Hurts only those who refuse to acknowledge it.

The truth isn’t always Pleasant, but if something is just too good to be true, there’s got to be something wrong with it.

As you go through your life , you have to ask yourself: are you being true not only to your friends, but to yourself?

And if not what are you going to do about it?
